My first experience with BST was outstanding! Samantha was very kind and professional, and took such good care of my ringneck baby. The portal was so great and easy to see photo and video updates of her every day. Your bird will be so happy here, it truly is a bird resort. I am beyond thrilled with the service I received from BST! It was my first time leaving my budgie in boarding and Samantha blew my expectations out of the water. I felt that my girl was extremely well cared for and in excellent hands. I opted to have her nails trimmed while she was staying and it is the best nail trim she has ever had. All I can say is, wow! The owner of BST, Samantha, had the opportunity to care for my cockatiel and she did a spectacular job from start to finish. Not only did she look after my girl with patience and expertise, but she went the extra mile by running a thoughtful rehoming campaign (that’s actually how I came to adopt my cockatiel). Samantha took the time to screen me properly, ask all of the right questions, and made sure I was fully prepared to give her the best home. Her dedication throughout that process gave me total confidence that my new feathered friend would be in fantastic hands if I ever needed to have her bird sitted. While she was bird sitting her, Samantha expertly trimmed my cockatiel’s nails (they’re smooth and no longer sharp!) My cockatiel is very shy and does not typically trust others, but she handled her so gently and with such care that I could just tell she's a pro. Samantha is not only a knowledgable when it comes to cockatiels, but about all kinds of birds, from big parrots down to little budgies, and even non parrots like doves and pigeons. This is why, whenever I have a question, whether it’s about diet, behaviour, or anything in between, she’s the first person I reach out to, because I trust her insights completely. On top of everything else, Samantha wrote the book, "Parrot Parenting: How to Provide the Best Care for Your Bird", which I highly recommend to anyone who has a bird. It’s packed with useful tips and personal stories about her own flock, and it really reinforces why she’s so passionate about avian care. If you’re on the fence about who to trust with your bird, I would highly recommend Samantha/BST. They will send you updates and photos, and when you get your bird back, you’ll see just how happy and well-cared-for they’ve been. :)
